Come Work the Hives — Right Here in Pittsfield, Maine
If you're within a reasonable drive of Pittsfield, Maine, your Bee School membership includes optional hands-on visits to our small apiary. We keep just 2–3 hives — intentionally small so you can take it all in without feeling overwhelmed. It's the perfect way to see real beekeeping up close and decide if it's right for you before spending money on your own equipment.
Bee suits provided — adult sizes (5'7" to 6')
Appointments only · max 3 visitors per visit
Hives worked every 7–10 days (more often for new hives)
