The Secret Life of Honey Bees

A honeybee hive is A Matriarchy or run by the female of the species. The female members do pretty much everything to keep the hive operational, safe, and running smoothly. The males are only used for breeding and are all expelled from the hive in the fall. They expell the dromes (males) to Conserve winter food stores for the ladies!
